Barga is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. It is renowned for its hospitality, tourist services as well as place of important cultural, historical and artistic heritage.  Our visit in Vespa includes a stop at the wonderful Cathedral to admire the frescoes and sculptures. From the Duomo you will appreciate the unforgettable panorama of the Apuan Alps.
Take the time, you only have to relax to enjoy the elegance and tranquillity of these suggestive mansions. Villa reale, villa mansi, villa grabau, villa torrigiani, villa Olivia, are only a few of the fantastic villas they you will find along the way, a cultural itinerary that takes place in the rolling hills and countryside that surrounds the Lucca plain.   They were built from the XV century until the XIX century as summer homes alternative to the winter ones in the city for the upper classes of the city of Lucca.   True works of art with large gardens, arcades, salons, mosaics and statues, parks with pools, fishing areas and lakes. In the construction of these operas of urban bourgeoisie in between olive groves and vineyards, the lucchesi people have modified their landscape keeping in consideration in first place the beauty.   An itinerary to not be missed!!!!!
A journey on two wheels through the lines and the illustrations of "Pinocchio's lies" (c), a collection of "Pinocchio's lies" of "il lustro" that documents with real lies the inspiration, the places and the characters of the most famous stories of the world through beautiful valleys and uncontaminated mountains. Those who believe in fables, that read with a heart that dreams like children, that feel love and feel alive, the roots for the earth, can approach this journey through lines and illustrations that ambient places and characters of an inedited Pinocchio in these lands.   An Adventure in Vepsa: Even the walls know that the Paese dei Balocchi was Bagni di Lucca, but that Lucignolo lived in Lucignana, that the dog-fish was named Botri, the Botri of the Orrido, that Prato Fiorito produced miracles, that the fairy lived on the creek of Camaione, that Barga was Mangia-Fòco, that Leopoldo the second had hair "polendini" like Geppetto, they will remain essentially a load of theories not to enumerate through those of the "long nose" or "short legs".
Going up the Lima valley to discover ancient towns of Roman origins, where you can immerse yourselves in an enchanting landscape to rediscover perfumes and sounds of nature that have been forgotten.   The slow flow of the river Lima, immersed in deep woods gives us views of rare beauty.   The suspended bridge, inaugurated in 1922; is 220 meters long and its highest point reaches 40 meters, it is one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world. Realized with steel cables with its movement will give you an important adrenaline rush.   To arrive until cutigliano, a medieval town, a place that even to this day keeps intact its past. Built along a long and important road layout, already documented from the longobarda ages, that passed the the Passo Della Croce Arcana, to then go towards the north.   The focal point of the town is the municipal square dominated by the Palazzo pretorio or of the captains of the mountains, erected at the end of the three hundreds. The passing of time on these ancient walls is documented by numerous coats of arms in stone and in terracotta of the captains called to cover the coveted magistracy.   The town characterized by the narrow streets surrounded by antique houses and monuments, is a prestigious place for summer holidays.
